Web-based PSA video player to be launched for National Safe Place on July 5

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A web-based public service announcement video player for National Safe Place, a non-profit organization helping youth in crisis, is set to be launched by Cyber View on July 5. The PSA video player will be located at the following web site address: www.nationalsafeplace.org/videos/mediacenter.php

The web-based video player will take advantage of emerging web site technology utilizing a combination of Adobe® Flash® and AJAX. The videos will be streamed on the Internet using the Flash® Video Player. AJAX will allow visitors to the web site to quickly switch between videos.

For the past 6 years National Safe Place has been the primary non-profit organization for Cyber View. In 2002 Cyber View was asked to assist Safe Place with the re-design of a teen focused section of their web site. Cyber View was called upon again in 2006 to re-design the entire Safe Place web site. The new site was database driven using a content management system, which provided the functionality for expansion such as the new web-based PSA video player.
